At the Rosgvardiya exhibition "Day of Advanced Technologies-2023" Rostec will for the first time show a new line of assault armored vests "Obereg" developed by the Tula plant "Octava".
"Obereg" has passed the necessary tests and certification for protection classes from Br 1 to Br 5 inclusive. The vest of Br 5 class can withstand the hit of armor-piercing sniper ammunition from domestic B-32 to American 338 Lapua Magnum. The vest is suitable for extreme conditions (in water and at temperatures from - 40 °C to + 40 °C). At the same time, it is characterized by low weight (11.7 kg) and does not restrain movements.
All sections of the vest, including the sides, have anti-fragmentation layers made of aramid materials, placed in waterproof covers. The product is also equipped with additional shoulder, neck and groin protection.
The developer of this equipment is the factory "Octava". The company's capacity allows to produce up to 2 thousand products per month - since April "Octava" has doubled its capacity.
Underwater or surface - which drone attacked the Crimean bridge
Some Telegram channels began to spread the version that the attack against the Crimean Bridge was carried out with the help of the American underwater drone REMUS 600. This contradicts the statement of the NAC, according to which Kiev attacked the bridge using two kamikaze surface drones.
REMUS 600 is designed for both reconnaissance and demining. In theory, this drone is capable of both reaching the Crimean Bridge from the mother ship and delivering a certain amount of explosives to the site of the terrorist attack, but this version is still unlikely.
Firstly, if the enemy had the opportunity to deliver explosives underwater, he would deliver them directly to the bridge piers, because their damage is much harder to repair than a damaged span.
